Meet Our Team
Satish P. Shah, CPA, Founder and President
Satish is a chartered accountant (CA) originally from India. For the past 35 years, he has worked providing business and personal tax preparation, accounting and counseling services. Satish has worked with businesses in virtually all industries including retail, wholesale, motel and professionals like doctors, lawyers, IT, Etc. He has worked with individuals in the areas of income tax preparation and planning, IRS representation.
Educational Background: Satish has both Bachelor’s & Master’s degree of Science in Accounting from the University of Mumbai, India. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals.
In addition to being the founder and president of Shah Associates, Satish strongly committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. He believes that by working together, we can create a better future for all.
Satish strongly believes in giving back to his own communities by doing humanitarian/charitable work.
He serves on the board of one religious organization, and one charitable/humanitarian organization. And with the help of his wife and two daughters, started 501 (c) (3) organization.

Minal Shah, CPA, Principal/Partner
Minal manages the firm’s tax practice, including corporate and individual taxes, with an emphasis on closely-held businesses and healthcare industries. She has over 21 years of experience as a CPA.
Educational Background: Minal has a Bachelor’s degree of Accounting from South Gujarat University, India. She is a member of the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals.
Anila Shah, Senior Accountant
Anila has 25+ years of experience and works as a senior accountant. She specializes in monthly accounting, preparing financial statements and preparing corporation & Individual tax returns. Anila is also in charge of setting up new businesses with incorporations or organizations, helping businesses register in new states and jurisdictions, and closing businesses that are already registered.
Educational Background: Anila has a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree with major in Accounting & Auditing from University of Mumbai, India.
Sudha (Sangeeta) Sheth, Administrative Assistant
Sangeeta works as an Administrative Assistant and has 15+ years of experience. Her duties include preparing payroll for a select few clients and other administrative duties.
Educational Background: Sangeeta has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Virani Science College, India.
